The Board of Education is expected to vote Wednesday night on the appointment of Kim Randlett to serve as the school district’s director of human resources.
According to PUSD, Randlett joined the district in 2007 as a paraeducator at Havens before moving into the district office in 2011 to support the assistant superintendents of business services and curriculum and instruction.
Randlett then moved into an HR leadership role supporting the district and the classified staff, a role she held for the past 13 years.
The district said it interviewed external candidates as well, but that Randlett exemplified the excellence the district was seeking for the role.
“She brings a broad range of experience and has cultivated strong, lasting relationships with staff across the district. We are confident in her ability to thrive and lead successfully in this new position,” said Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Hawn in her appointment memo to the school board.
