Another beautiful weekend day drew families to the center of Piedmont, this time for the 11th annual Piedmont School Maker Faire at Piedmont High School. Sunday’s event featured 80 STEAM-related projects reflecting the work of over 200 Makers in the community. Young participants tried their hand at robotics, crafts, rocket launching, puzzle solving, science experiments and more.
The Piedmont School Maker Faire is a celebration of K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) education for the Piedmont community and beyond organized by the Piedmont Makers community group.
