Family: Joseph Gross, Nyanda Donaldson, Phoenix Gross, Adelaise Neel and Elliana Neel
Pet: Warhol
Age: 8 years old
Breed: Australian Labradoodle
Adoption story: After moving into our Piedmont home in 2015, my family decided to get a puppy. After extensive research, my parents found a reputable breeder two hours away. A few weeks later, we eagerly drove down to bring home our adorable Australian labradoodle.
Likes: Warhol has lots of energy and he loves to run around. He loves to cuddle and have us pet his very fluffy coat. He likes to listen to us so we think of him as a very good listener.
Dislikes: He has none when it comes to food! He will eat anything and we find him getting into the trash often.
Interesting facts: My parents named him after the famous American artist Andy Warhol, who was born in the 1920s and was also a film director and producer. A leading figure in the Pop Art movement and considered one of the most important artists of the second half of the 20th century, he is one of my step dad’s favorite artists. Choosing to name our puppy after such a significant figure perfectly aligned with our family — my stepdad is the founder and owner of the Gross Art Gallery and Art Now NY, which showcases art in Los Angeles and New York.

Anything else: We have also met one of Warhol’s siblings at the Piedmont Park. Both are from the same breeder and have the same white markings.
