Calling all women — moms, grandmas, daughters — to take a moment to reconnect with your sense of wonder, with nature, and with yourself.
As someone who works regularly with children in our elementary and middle school here in Piedmont, I have an immense appreciation for the value of play inside of the school day. Play is the anchor of learning social skills in TK and is baked into the daily routine in kindergarten through second grade. But then, play becomes a scheduled, limited commodity as we age. Grown ups get infrequent playtime, but we need that it as much as kids do!
Camp Augusta invites you to reconnect and live out your childhood camper dreams. With over 150 activities you can zip through the trees, climb to the top of brand new pole course, tie dye a shirt, shoot some arrows at archery or simply relax in a hammock with a glass of wine and your favorite book for a chance to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature and yourself.
This event gives women the opportunity to connect with one another and experience the joys of summer camp once again (or for the first time!). We will offer many of the same activities our summer campers experience during the summer with a schedule and structure very similar to our family camps. Additionally, the Women’s Mid-Week Retreat has a few extra special offerings of its own to make your time at camp both magical and comfortable. One of our most proud offerings are the meals which are definitely not your typical summer camp food.
Come for a chance to reset and relax before heading into the summer. (Why should kids get to have all the fun?!) Can’t get away for two nights? Come for one night and a day of incredible play.
Women’s Mid-Week runs April 30 – May 2. Get more information or register HERE.
Come for the adventure, stay for the connection, and leave with unforgettable memories.
