Local leaders, community members, and city staff gathered at Community Hall on April 4 for a pop-up history exhibit and birthday celebration, with photographs, newspaper clippings, and archival video that highlighted the past century of two of Piedmont’s most iconic landmarks — the Hall itself and the Exedra.
Vice Mayor Conna McCarthy toasted the sites, and Piedmont Beautification Foundation advisor Cameron Wolfe spoke about the history of both structures. The Piedmont Historical Society, Piedmont Beautification Foundation, and Piedmont Garden Club hosted informational tables.
