Piedmont seeing success
Piedmont High School’s beach volleyball team picked up a couple of wins to start April and improve to 3-2 on the season.
The Highlanders beat Convent on April 3, 2-1. Clara Murray and Izara Dando won the No. 1 match in two sets. The No. 2 team of Daisy Tran and Olivia Stevens also won in straight sets. The No. 3 team of Mia Bechtel and Sofia Meyer fell in straight sets.
On April 2, Piedmont swept Emerald High. Bechtel and Meyer won the No. 1 match in straight sets. Tran and Stevens swept the No. 2 match versus Emerald High yesterday. Dando and Lucia Dorsey won the No. 3 match in three sets.
