Who’s that Good Dog?

Marshmallow (left) and Coco

Family: Cindy, Adrian, Will and Juliet Hinman

Pet: Coco and Marshmallow

Age: 5 years old and 1.5 years old

Breed: Mini Pinscher Mix and Jack Russell Mix

Adoption story: We are fostering Coco and Marshmallow for the Milo Foundation; they are a bonded mom and daughter duo. Milo picked them up from a Central Valley shelter after their owner had a change in living situation and could not keep them.

You couldn’t imagine sweeter girls — they are very affectionate and love to cuddle. They have brought so much love and joy to our house!  Both girls are people of all ages-friendly and dog-friendly. They have been at our house for 6 days and we have heard maybe one bark. They walk nicely on a leash, sniffing here and there.  They sleep quietly in a crate through the night and are doing their business outside.

I’m sure most people are thinking that two dogs sounds like a lot but trust me when I tell you that having two dogs is actually less work because they have each other!  Let us know if you want to meet them and/or have any questions.  These two sweethearts deserve a home to call their own!

Likes: Coco and Marshy love all ages of people, dogs and pretty much anything and everything. They are super affectionate and love cuddling. If you are watching a show, they would want to be right next to you curled up. They are always ready to go for a walk or follow us around the house but they settle down nicely and are very good at naps. If anyone shows them any attention, their tails immediately start wagging and they trot up to give kisses and show affection.

Dislikes: The only dislike we have figured out so far is they are nervous with assertive large dogs, calm and friendly big dogs are fine. They can also be a little shy when meeting new people but warm up quickly.

Interesting facts: Coco is Marshmallow’s mom, which we cannot see! Aside from both being smaller dogs, they look nothing alike. They normally sleep curled up together and sometimes they look like yin and yang.

Anything else: Coco is calm, mature and very sweet tempered.  Marshy brings more of the fun as she can be playful.  She enjoys playing with other dogs while Coco is happy to sniff and move on.
