Piedmont parent band The Date Nights to hold benefit concert for PRD’s Sidekicks program

Join The Date Nights, a local band of Beach parents, for a special evening of original songs to benefit the Piedmont Recreation Department’s Sidekicks Program. This program trains Piedmont teens to support safe, fun, and inclusive after-school classes and summer camps for neurodiverse school-age kids.

The Date Nights — a band composed of Piedmont parents Peter Jaeschke on bass, Supina Mapon on violin and vocals, Brandon Garibaldi on drums, and Matthew Zapruder on guitar and vocals — will perform on March 28 at Piedmont Community Hall.

PRD and PIE (Piedmonters for Inclusive Excellence) are supporting the benefit. Buy tickets HERE.

Zapruder, a professor of poetry and creative writing at Saint Mary’s College by day, said the group writes songs that are locally focused and are proud to be a local band that supports the community.
