Mountain View Cemetery’s annual spring Tulip Exhibition in the Tower Chapel kicked off on March 21, showcasing tulip-themed floral arrangements by Bay Area florists, garden clubs and college floral design classes.

Piedmonters Molly Ashford, Patty Dunlap, Nancy Huseby, Agnes Kang, Conna McCarthy, and Deb Obendorf all had works on display.

The cemetery is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays.

  1. Thank you, Piedmont Exedra, for covering the Tulip Exhibition so beautifully. This popular event is not only a harbinger of spring, but also a coming-together of a diverse group of local floral designers. The world could use more expressions through flowers, and in the words of the great artist Monet: “I must have flowers, always and always.”
