Erin Rivera leads the Summer Adventures program

Get ready for an unforgettable summer with Summer Adventures 2025, a program led by PUSD’s incredible teachers and staff to offer enriching and fun-filled experiences for students of all ages! With half-day and full-day options, kids can explore new interests, build friendships, and gain confidence through engaging hands-on learning opportunities.

Welcome to Kinder & Welcome to 6th Grade

For students preparing for big transitions, our Welcome to Kinder and Welcome to 6th Grade programs help ease the adjustment with fun activities, school-readiness skills, and a chance to meet future classmates. These sessions set students up for success by creating a supportive and engaging environment to explore their new routines.

Exciting Enrichment Classes for 1st-5th Graders

Younger students can dive into a variety of hands-on and engaging classes. 1st and 2nd graders can explore creativity in Masterpieces in the Making: Art Class, develop reading and literacy skills in Readers are Leaders, and learn about plants and ecosystems in Growing Gardeners. 3rd-5th graders can enjoy Art and Writing: Exploring Color, where they combine artistic expression with storytelling, become reporters in Junior Journalists, experiment in Science Explorers!, and design their own board games in Playing and Creating Board Games.

Junior Counselor-in-Training (JrCIT) Program

For 7th-9th graders (Fall 2025), the JrCIT program is the perfect opportunity to develop leadership skills while assisting in Summer Adventures classes. JrCITs will receive leadership training before stepping into a mentorship role, making a positive impact on younger students while gaining valuable experience.
