Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides side-splitting shenanigans. Composer Mary Rodgers and lyricist/librettists Marshall Barer and Jay Thompson adapted the Hans Christian Andersen tale to create the musical comedy.

Close to 50 student performers, 20 student band/orchestra members, and over 10 stage crew members collaborate to bring the community this uplifting show. Directed by PHS Dance and English teacher Amy Moorhead, the orchestra is conducted by PHS Band and Orchestra teacher, Trevor Meseroll. Local professionals Claire Chaix and Sandra Peter handle the vocal direction.
