The Havens Dads Club raised over $62,000 for Havens Elementary School at their annual Poker Night, organizers said on Tuesday. The sold-out event of close to 150 people at Veteran’s Hall on Jan. 10 included nine community sponsors and was organized by Club President Francis Hoang, Mike Cvet, Babak Sanii, Ted Kinch, Brandon Bercovich, Kyle Killion, Andrew Johnson, and Jeffrey Nguyen.
Bragging rights went to winner Luke Schloegel, a Havens dad of three students at the school.
Sponsors included Robert Dorsey Catering, BodyFit BFT, Corient, HDR Remodeling, KSS, Montclair Orthodontics, Natural Green Cleaning Agency, Oakland United Beer, and Arthur Mac’s (pizza).
