Reporting to the City Administrator, the Finance Director administers the fiscal operations and activities of the City, which include budgeting, investments, financial transaction processing, record-keeping and reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The Finance Director also manages and oversees all functions of the Finance Division, including finance, treasury, accounting, and purchasing.
The successful candidate will be a “hands-on” working Finance Director with proven technical expertise in the areas of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, investment of city funds, procurement and, most importantly, preparation of the annual budget. The Council is committed to offering competitive yet fiscally responsible compensation and is currently conducting a Wage and Compensation Study. The current annual salary is $213,852.
