Who's behind the Creature Crawl in Piedmont Park?

A series of quirky creatures have popped up in Piedmont Park this past week, provenance unknown. A placard notes the figures are made of recycled and found materials, including polyethylene terephthalate (PET) — the most common material used for clear plastic containers.

We’re fairly confident in our assessment that this is not an invasion from the planet Snoogu, but are curious about the artists behind the project. If the weekend rain doesn’t wash them away, you may still find them hidden along the pathways.
