The Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) is thrilled to announce a new challenge as part of this year’s Giving Campaign. This week, Piedmont families are invited to join forces to make a positive impact on local schools. With a goal of $4 million, every contribution counts.
In addition to the class competition, the Giving Campaign chairs have announced that if 75% of families participate in the Giving Campaign, the entire town will enjoy a community-wide pajama day.
With the Giving Meter in the heart of town tracking our progress, everyone will be able to watch as Piedmont works toward the ambitious target of 75% participation. “Imagine our whole community celebrating with a pajama day with even our city officials in their PJs,” said campaign lead Catie Osborn. “It’s a fun and lighthearted way to recognize the serious difference each donation makes, no matter the size.”
Participation is vital to supporting our schools and signals a united commitment to bettering the education system for all students. When families and the broader community show up, it reinforces that we’re all in this together for the long haul.
PEF is calling on every family in the Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD) to join the effort. With contributions of any amount, our goal of achieving 75% participation is well within reach. Together, we can make an extraordinary difference in Piedmont’s schools and celebrate the power of community giving.
