Melissa Daymond at the April 26 Board of Education meeting.

Principal Melissa Daymond announced in an email to the Wildwood parent community early this week that she was resigning from her position at the school. She did not give a reason for her departure.

In an email to the Wildwood community on Monday, PUSD Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Hawn said Daymond’s last day would be November 1 and that the district would use the next month to post the position and find a replacement.

Daymond has been in her position for less than two years; she succeeded Carol Cramer, who retired after 35+ years in the district.
