On Tuesday the National Weather Service upgraded its Fire Weather Watch to a Red Flag Warning for critical fire weather conditions starting Thursday night through Saturday for most of the Bay Area.
In a social media post, NWS said daytime relative humidity would be as low as 10% and strong offshore winds 25-35 mph with gusts to 45 mph are expected. Gusts to 65 mph possible in the highest terrain.
