Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, PRD’s basketball program provides an engaging environment that will fuel your child’s love for the game. Registration is available to both Piedmont residents and surrounding Bay Area athletes.

K-1 Hoops!
It’s never too early to master the fundamentals of the game. This engaging program allows players to hone their skills through practice sessions and fun games. Each player will be assigned to a 60-minute timeslot.
2nd Grade Girls & Boys Developmental Basketball
The program focuses on developing fundamental skills in a small team setting Players will have plenty of playing time and opportunities to work on their game. Each team will have one 45-minute practice session during the week and play a 60-minute game on Saturdays.
3rd-8th Grade Girls & Boys Recreational Basketball
Learn foundational skills and experience the importance of teamwork! Each player will be assigned to a team with a 60-minute practice session once a week. Practices will be scheduled between Monday and Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm, or on Friday, 5:00-8:00 pm.
Please note: 3rd grade teams will practice at Zion Lutheran Church (5201 Park Blvd. Piedmont, 94611).
3rd grade games will occur on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, and 4th through 8th grade games will be played on Sundays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. The specific practice times and game schedules will be finalized once the teams are formed.
This program is designed not only to develop your skills but also to foster new friendships. Join us for a season of fun, learning, and teamwork.
Skill Assessments: 4th–8th grade players are strongly encouraged to attend a skill assessment, regardless of whether they have previously played in a league. Skill assessments assist coaches in balancing players’ skill abilities across teams, creating more parity in the divisions.
Register by Oct. 25 to be included in assessments for Nov 2 and Nov 3. There will be no assessments for the 2nd and 3rd grade divisions.
