Letter to the Editor | An uncontested election lets us focus our energies on students, district needs

Thank you to Victoria Rosenbaum for confirming she is no longer running for the PUSD School Board of Directors – and for her dedication to PUSD by considering volunteering. I hope we see her in the next election!

With three candidates for three open seats, the race for School Board is now uncontested, allowing the remaining candidates, including me, to begin focusing on addressing our district’s needs and meeting with those we hope to serve — Piedmont students, parents, and teachers. For this reason, you will not see purchased signs or flyers with my name around town. I am also not accepting donations. Instead, please consider redirecting donations to the District’s general fund (piedmont.k12.ca.us – see Get Involved) or directly to a teacher. Every classroom needs supplies and supplemental materials!

I always want to hear and learn from Piedmonters. In the coming weeks, I’ll be attending various community events and forums to listen to your thoughts and share my ideas on the priorities that will help our kids thrive in school.
