About Max Becker

Piedmont native, Max Becker is a 31 year-old musician and Craig Hospital alum. He is the lead guitar player and occasional singer of SWMRS (pronounced “swimmers”), a rock group that has toured all over the world. After a car accident resulting in traumatic brain injury in 2019, Becker found himself staying home from tour to teach guitar lessons in the community. Five years later, he is back on stage and touring the world once again. Now married, he lives in Washington, D.C. with wife Michelle. He still loves to teach guitar when not on the road.
