Flix Fest will screen “Rabbit Proof Fence” on June 13 at 1:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Piedmont Recreation Department, the event takes place in the Center for the Arts at 801 Magnolia Avenue on the second Thursday of each month.
Doors open at 12:45 p.m. The showing is free and open to anyone over 18 years of age. Drop-ins welcome but registration is encouraged HERE. Everyone is welcome to bring snacks or lunch.
The madcap American comedy “Some Like It Hot” starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, and Tony Curtis, will be shown on July 11 at the same location. Please note the showtime for the July film is 3:30 p.m.
