Name: Cleo and Wally
Members of Family: Keiko, Matt, Aya & Toshi Hayashi-Troyer
Age: Cleo is 9, Wally is 6
Breed: Brown tabbies
Indoor or Outdoor: Cleo roams the neighborhood, but Wally likes to stay in the garden.
Adoption Story: We adopted Cleo first, and a few years later, we decided that it was time to get her a little brother. Even though at first Cleo wanted all the attention to herself, they now get along (Cleo is still the top cat). We got them both from a shelter.
Favorite napping spot: Cleo likes to take over our pillows and also naps underneath a small maple tree in our garden. Wally follows Mom around and naps wherever she is. He also loves the cat tree, which is best known as his “apartment”.
Favorite toy: Cleo loves a crocheted square that Aya made, and Wally loves a ratty bee toy. They also like to bring in toys from the outside, like a stray sock or a perfectly shaped leaf.
Interesting facts: Cleo is very social and is the queen of the house. She has a very loud meow and talks all the time to get our attention.
Wally is shy and is our gentle giant. He never scratches, bites, or hisses to the point where we don’t know if he knows how to.
Anything else: Wally knows how to sit on command. Cleo couldn’t care less; she does as she pleases.
Happy you are doing cat segments, in addition to dogs! 🙂
