Oakland Art Murmur (OAM) is excited to continue the rich, 50-year-old history of East Bay Open Studios (EBOS) during the first two weekends of June; June 1 – 2 and 8 – 9 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day.
OAM is the center of Oakland’s art scene. We’re a nonprofit that brings together Oakland’s creative community through events, programming and opportunities for artists.
Hundreds of East Bay artists will open their studios to the public in this free, family-friendly self-guided tour of the East Bay’s unique art scene. Visitors will discover art where it happens: in unexpected places, at an art gallery, at an artist open studio, or live mural painting. EBOS artists are painters, sculptors, ceramicists, glass and metal workers, jewelry makers and multimedia artists. Art events are happening daily.
Visitors can navigate to the East Bay Open Studios website, find artists in the community, plan studio visits using the digital map and find activities and special events. Information including studio accessibility and languages spoken are included in each artist’s profile. Learn more at oaklandartmurmur.org.
