Who’s that Good Dog?

Lucky as a pup

Everyone’s favorite, Lucky Clover is a rover that no one is looking over.

Name: Lucky Clover Rivera (Elsa picked the first name, based off of her favorite cartoon, and Ava picked the middle name to go along with it.)

Members of Family: Michele, Jonas, Elsa, Ava, William Rivera

Age: 9

Breed: Yellow Lab

Adoption Story: Michele found her on Craigslist, and we drove out to a small house filled with a bunch of puppies. Lucky was in a crate in the kitchen—she was the cutest little thing. We picked her up and she barked the whole drive!

Likes: She loves bread. She also loves Elsa’s room—she uses a desk chair as a step-stool to climb onto Elsa’s bed. She loves when people come to the house—whenever we have a plumber or a worker at our house they’ll send us photos of her cuddling with them. She also loves Lake Tahoe and — surprisingly enough — going to the vet!

Dislikes: She doesn’t seem to like to play with dogs that look exactly like her. The only food she doesn’t eat is lettuce.

Interesting facts: The first time we took her to Lake Tahoe she swam into the freezing water for hours and got something called “Limbertail”, where she couldn’t move her tail temporarily. She didn’t learn her lesson and still loves to swim!

Anything else: We love her so much, she’s the greatest, funniest dog ever.
