Piedmont’s Food Fest 3 is April 20 and you can still grab an Early Bird package HERE for the next 24 hours or so to save money on Kidzone activities and drinks.
Event organizers still need 10 volunteers to help in the KidZone and/or help clean up: sign up HERE.
The Food Zone will stretch down Highland and Magnolia Avenues and includes a new Sweet Zone (with treats from Hila Gelato, Annie’s T Cakes, BB T Japanese Crepes), and a curated local Beer and Wine Zone. There will also be a Community Circle, interactive games hosted by Oakland Roots and Soccer Without Borders, an expanded KidZone of carnival games, sno-cones, plus a new cultural crafts station, and Food Fest Performances featuring aerialists, Brazilian samba & capoeira, Japanese taiko, a Chinese youth orchestra featuring instruments like the erhu and moon guitar, Tahitian dance, South Asian folk songs, a sax solo, an indie soul vocalist, and more.
