Piedmont boys golf splits with Alameda, San Leandro

Piedmont High School’s boys golf team took a split in a three-way match on March 27 at Monarch Bay Golf Club.

The Highlanders scored 223 on the afternoon, beating San Leandro (238) but falling to a strong Alameda squad (192). Piedmont is now 6-3 on the year.

The Highlanders will next play on April 3 against Alameda and Encinal at Sequoyah Country Club.

Bodhi Bloemker was low man for Piedmont on March 27, shooting a two-over par 37. P.J. Brayer was next with a 40. Jackson Van Kleeck shot a 46 with River Bloemker carding a 47.

Julien Porter came home in 53 and Dillon Casey shot a 55.
