Piedmont Adult School writers to share work in literary evening on March 20

Instructor Denise Bostrum

The literary talents of Piedmont Adult School students will be on display at a special event, “A Spring Reading of Piedmont Adult School Writers”. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 20 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at 801 Magnolia Ave. in Piedmont.

This informal evening will provide an opportunity for writers to read their work and listen to readings from their fellow students.

Most of the readings will be from students in the Piedmont Adult School class, Family Stories and Memoir Writing, taught by former Piedmont resident Denise Bostrom. “It’s such an important experience for students to read their writing in front of an audience,” says Bostrom. “I’m thrilled that the Adult School is able to provide them with this
opportunity.”

The event is free and the public is warmly invited to attend. Come hear these remarkable stories and get inspired to write about your own family history!
