An enthusiastic audience was on hand to hear the work of Piedmont Adult School students at the recent event, “A Spring Reading of Piedmont Adult School Writers.”

The informal evening, held March 20 at 801 Magnolia, provided an opportunity for writers to read their work and listen to the work of fellow students. Subject matter ranged from the humorous to the deeply personal.

Most of the participants were students in the Piedmont Adult School class, Family Stories and Memoir Writing, taught by former Piedmont resident Denise Bostrom.

“It was a lovely evening, and a great chance to showcase the work of these talented writers,” Bostrom said.
