This Missouri native is obsessed with squirrels, stunts, and snuggling.
Name: Remi, but her American Kennel Club name is ‘Coming in Hot.’
Members of Family: Maria, Jovita, and her dog-sister Elmo
Age: 3
Breed: French Brittany Spaniel
Adoption Story: We originally wanted to get a rescue after our other dog passed away, but during the pandemic we couldn’t find any available rescues. Eventually, I started looking at breeders and I found one all the way in Missouri—Little Dixie Ranch. The breeder also breeds miniature goats along with dogs. After seeing her pictures on the website we fell in love with Remi. We couldn’t get to Missouri, so we met the breeder in Salt Lake City, Utah, and picked Remi up.
Likes: She loves every type of food, and is very food-motivated. Her breed is a hunting breed, so she is obsessed with chasing squirrels and other animals. She loves to run and is incredibly fast. She also loves cuddles.
Dislikes: She has strong opinions about noise. Whenever there’s a loud noise on the TV she’ll freak out.
Interesting facts: She and I do agility training on Thursday nights—eventually we will go to competitions. She practices jumps, weaves through poles, goes through tunnels, and does other fun tricks.
Anything else: She’s super smart. Honestly, she’s smarter than I am!
