Letter to the Editor | Tax curmudgeon sees benefit to Measure F — even with its modest increase

It is safe to say I am a curmudgeon when it comes to taxes. But not to the degree that I can’t sometimes see the benefit of them for me, my family and my community. This is definitely the case with Piedmont’s Measure F intended to make a modest increase ($14+ a month in my case) in our municipal services tax. Clearly our civic leaders plan this increase for the purpose of continuing and improving those services.

I urge my friends and fellow Piedmonters to join me and vote YES on MEASURE F.
