I am, like so many others, writing to express my strong support for Measure F.
I know that sometimes it can feel like we’re pouring our (often large) tax contributions down a drain, that we’re throwing money into an oncoming tide of problems that we have very little ability to fix. I feel the same way sometimes.
But one of the many benefits of living in Piedmont is we get to be the direct beneficiaries of our local taxes. Our already outstanding emergency services will be made better by Measure F, and we will be even safer. Our streets will be even more beautiful. There will be even more shared space in which to enjoy our friends, neighbors, and larger community. Our recreation options will be even better.
I urge everyone to vote ‘yes’ with me on Measure F.
