Belief is the reason many of us stay in Piedmont. We believe that we have a special community and that there will be a wave of change to restore the safety we all once felt. As Alameda County Supervisor, Chris Moore will help lead of the wave of change we’re all hoping for.
Chris Moore isn’t a politician. Chris is a community member that loves where we live and knows the potential.
Here are the three reasons Chris is the best candidate:
- His #1 priority is public safety.
None of us feel safe and businesses are shuttering. Chris is putting a spotlight on the fact that laws are not being honored and law-abiding community members are the ones suffering. He is committed to restoring accountability. And he is the only District 5 candidate who supports Recalling Pamela Price. - He doesn’t just say things, he does things.
Having worked with Chris on community issues focused on making Piedmont, Oakland, and Alameda County better for everyone, I’ve seen Chris first-hand jump into action. He is a quick study to learn the ins and outs of policies and laws, he’s direct, listens, doesn’t settle and makes sure there is a decision, and rallies people from all backgrounds and expertise to create change. - He’s brave.
Not many of us want to engage in the fray politics have become, but we’re also suffering from the inept people we have in office and failed policies. Chris is stepping up to the task many don’t want to take on. Chris has identified the failed policies, he’s identified where taxpayer money is being wrongly spent, and he’s committed to changing this. He understands that this means getting multiple county, city, and state functions working together and is the right person to make this happen.
It is not true to say that Chris Moore is the only candidate who supports recalling Price. Gerald Pechenuk is a Trump supporter running for D5 and he is the only other candidate supporting recall.
