Letter to the Editor | A ‘yes’ on F to pay it forward

Most of the letters I’ve read in support of Measure F have come from long-time residents of our town, and I have found them informative and persuasive.  As a relative newbie to Piedmont (our family moved here in 2022), I approach the issue with a different perspective, but I am no less enthusiastic in my support.

I view Measure F through the lens of “paying it forward.” Since 1981, the residents of Piedmont have chosen to invest in back into this community, and though my family just got here, we are so grateful for the investment that has been made over the past four decades — we benefit from it every day! Renewing the City Services Tax now gives us the opportunity to support Piedmont so that future generations will continue to enjoy all that the city has to offer. It is our responsibility to do so.
