Who’s that Good Dog?

Lovable, happy-go-lucky Vivi is a Husky in a German Shepherd’s body who loves everything and everyone.

Name: Vivi (short for Starvin’ Marvin, due to her love for food as a puppy).

Members of Family: Allie Laughlin

Age: 2

Breed: German Shepherd-Husky mix

Adoption Story: In 2021 I was having such a hard time finding a dog locally. Every time I found a shelter dog that I wanted, they would be gone before I could adopt them. Finally, I found Vivi on a website, but she was 100 miles away. I drove all the way to a rescue organization in Los Banos called His Paws and Tails, and I picked her up. She was only nine months old — a teeny-tiny, cute thing.

Likes: She loves everything; she’s very friendly. She loves dirty tennis balls (much more than new ones), and will do anything for a turkey tendon. Overall, she’s just a very happy, social dog.

Dislikes: Doesn’t have any!

Interesting facts: She’s obsessed with cat food. Whenever we visit friends that have cats, I have to make them put away their cat food or she’ll eat it all.

Anything else: She is very sweet. She never growls or gets mad, and she gives a lot of kisses.
