The National Weather Service says we should expect a soaking over the weekend, with some breaks between storms.
On Friday the National Weather Service in Sacramento upgraded their Winter Storm Watch for the Sierra and S. Cascades to a Winter Storm Warning, in effect from 10 p.m. Friday night until 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22. Heaviest snowfall is expected Saturday afternoon/evening, then Sunday night into Mon morning — above 6000 feet.
