PHS student club hosts soccer equipment drive

Piedmont Key Club’s soccer equipment drive at PHS, PMS, and Havens has been extended until Jan. 26. Any type of soccer equipment, from balls to cleats, shin guards, and even athletic clothing will be donated to the local nonprofit Soccer Without Borders.

Key Club is a student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to perform service, build character and develop leadership. Soccer Without Borders is an organization that reaches out to students and community youth, with a particular focus on newcomer youth (refugees and immigrants):

Through in-school, after-school, weekend, and summer programs, Soccer Without Borders Oakland is a crucial resource to newcomer refugee and immigrant youth across Alameda County, CA.
