Heavy snow in the mountains; more rain for us

The National Weather Service said on Friday that heavy mountain snow will create major travel impacts over the Sierra and southern Cascades tomorrow above 6,000 feet. One to 2 feet of snow is in the forecast. Expect difficult travel conditions, chain controls, and reductions in visibility at times from Friday night through Saturday.
