Dear Readers,
Over the last five years, our subscribers have come to rely on The Piedmont Exedra for timely and relevant online news for our community. It has been our privilege to witness the impact of our work, especially during the challenges of wildfires, the pandemic, school shutdowns, housing (and pickleball!) debates, and the uptick in local crime. With twice weekly publication of our news bulletins and a website we update regularly, Piedmont residents can come together around a shared understanding about what’s happening and what’s important throughout our community.
As an online news source, The Exedra is able to post and quickly distribute breaking news. Our small, mostly volunteer staff is committed to ethical reporting of the news — we correct errors promptly, source all of our reporting, and are always open to new ideas and suggestions about how to improve.
Since its inception The Exedra has been a free community resource, and we now want to assure its long-term sustainability — that’s why we’re asking for your support at this time. Our pledge is to continue providing the highest quality community news and information.
With a campaign goal of $150,000, we hope you will consider an annual donation of $120 ($10/month) to support The Exedra. Of course, a donation of any size is greatly appreciated! Thanks to our partnership with the Bay City News Foundation, your donation is tax-deductible.

We can’t do this work without you.
