The Highlanders won at Sequoyah Country Club against Berkeley High School Wednesday, with both teams fielding fewer players due to illness.

Piedmont’s five players took on Berkeley’s four in three threesome match-ups. At the end of the day, Piedmont won 290 – 329.

Mei Assalian was the medalist and shot 46 for 9-holes.

“Sequoyah CC is a difficult course and they had the pins in some diabolical positions as they are in the middle of their club championship,” said coach Gary Lorin.
