Auditions are happening NOW for this year’s high school musical, Cabaret, directed and choreographed by Amy Moorhead, with student musicians directed by new PHS band director Trevor Meseroll.
Set in a Berlin nightclub as the 1920’s draw to a close, a Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. This show explores the dark, exhilarating, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich (concordtheatricals.com). Note: Our production will include the Nazi storyline; however, we will not incorporate swastikas or military uniforms.
