Piedmont Community Service Crew is kicking off its 2023-24 crew year on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 4-6 p.m. All interested middle or high school students and parents are encouraged to attend this event to learn more about the group’s activities and plans for the year. Current members have planned fun activities and a fundraising dessert auction to support the organization’s philanthropy. (Bring a checkbook or use PayPal.)

PCSC is a co-ed community service group that plans and creates service projects in town and neighboring cities. Samples of projects include sorting produce at the Alameda County Community Food Bank, cooking meals for the food insecure, painting murals, building Tiny Houses for homeless teens, and the annual Rebuilding Together Oakland home renovation project.
