Now in its fifth year, the Piedmont Police Department hosted its annual Coffee, Cops, and Cars event on Saturday, Sept. 23, hosting around 70 classic and unusual cars — including one US Army Humvee — along Magnolia Avenue. Although there were fewer cars on display than last year, the event has secured its place as one of the city’s most popular gatherings since its inception in 2018 by retired Sergeant Steve DeWarns.
