New DBFL donation bin set up in Mulberry’s parking lot

Dress Best for Less volunteers said on social media this week that it had established a location for an in-town drop-off bin in the Mulberry’s parking lot. After losing its Carriage House donation site on Magnolia Avenue to the new aquatic center project in 2022, Dress Best for Less moved its operations to a room in the First Congregational Church of Oakland at 2501 Harrison Street. Although DBFL has been hosting monthly pop-up donations at Havens Elementary, having an stationary donation bin in town should help make it easier for Piedmonters to donate. (No dumping, please!)

DBFL is now accepting bagged donations of new or close to new fall/winter clothing, jewelry, accessories or handbags to sell in its Piedmont Ave. storefront.

Larger or breakable donations can be brought to the Piedmont pop-up on the first Saturday of every month (9 – 11 a.m.) or to the new donation center at the First Congregational Church of Oakland.
