Neurodiversity Speaker Series: How to navigate the IEP and 504 process

IEP coach Lisa Wright takes a collaborative approach that focuses on getting curious about your child and what kind of environment they need in order to thrive.

Piedmonters for Inclusive Education (PIE), formerly known as PRAISE, hosts a discussion to help parents productively engage in the IEP process, something which can feel overwhelming and complicated. Often parents aren’t sure where to begin and even those who are more seasoned can feel a bit lost. How do we engage our IEP teams in ways that promote collaboration and support our learners in neurodiversity-affirming ways?

Join Lisa Wright, IEP coach, in a discussion about what the IEP process is and how to build collaborative relationships with your team, have more productive meetings, and advocate for your child through a neurodiversity-affirming lens.
