Spend Tuesday evenings ‘Pickin’ with Rick’

Gary Schatan

Piedmonter and solo fingerpicking guitarist Rick Schiller — known to many in town for his pickleball advocacy — will host the first of a regular Pickin’ with Rick gathering on Tuesday, Sept. 12 from 6:45-8:15 p.m. at 801 Magnolia Ave.

Rick would like to share his relaxing style with you and discuss the music along the way in his naturally stimulating, witty, and entertaining manner. And who knows what else will be discussed? Rick played guitar professionally for years though his dream of becoming the next Guitar God didn’t exactly pan out. After a long hiatus away from the instrument, Rick started to play again and developed a solo fingerpickin’ style. You are invited to join Rick for an evening of music and appreciation…and heck, it’s free!  Please feel free to BYOB (alcohol ok!) and snacks to enjoy while you listen.

This event will run the second Tuesdays of each month from Sept. 12 to Dec. 12, from 6:45-8:15 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at 801 Magnolia Ave. This event is free, but please register in advance HERE:
