If it finally feels like summer… it must be time to register for the new school year. The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 9. Registration for school and after-school programs through the city’s recreation department opens Aug. 1.

Annual PUSD student registration

Starting Tuesday, Aug. 1, returning families can officially register for the new school year via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You must register in order to receive important communication from the school district. Parents can also purchase school items and/or make donations on this site.

If you are new to Piedmont schools, find enrollment information HERE.

You can join parent and support clubs and order student directories through the Piedmont Education Foundation’s (PEF) Piedmont Store.

PMS and PHS families will also pick a time for the in-person “walk-through” registration on Tuesday, Aug. 8 via the Piedmont Store. This is when the schools take pictures, distribute textbooks, chromebooks, and school ids before school starts.

Non-residents can register at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8

  1. A shame that school starts before labor day, much less August 9!! The continued path of regimenting children’s time, structuring their days, weeks, and reducing the time to explore and just “do nothing” is hurting kids. Creativity, problem solving, and just getting to know the world come from having the free time and freedom to do “nothing”.
