Community members enjoyed perfect weather and a free performance of “Hamlet” by The Vallejo Shakespeare Group last Sunday in lower Dracena Park.
The performance marked the second appearance of Vallejo Shakespeare in Piedmont. In 2019, the group staged “Henry V” in Dracena Park. Established in 2010, Vallejo Shakespeare Group produces one live Shakespeare production each summer, with free performances in outdoor settings across the Bay Area. The troupe uses minimal sets and costuming, putting the focus on the actors’ performances.
