New families gathered in the Community Hall plaza last Friday evening to meet and mingle with local officials, school administrators, and other community members. This year’s city-sponsored event was first held in 2022, and was conceived then as a way to reconnect families who may have moved to town during the pandemic when social distancing rules applied, forcing the cancellation of many longtime Piedmont traditions.
Light bites and shave ice were provided by Compass realtors Sarah Abel and Julie Gardner.
