Space available in PRD STEAM camps next week

Julie Reichle

PRD camps offered a wide range of activities this summer for all ages and interests.

The last week of summer is just around the corner and the Piedmont Recreation Department has fun and enriching STEAM camps to top off the break and get your camper’s brain ready for the school year.

STEAM is a methodology that integrates science, technology, engineering, art and math. The fan-favorite summer camps below focus on problem-solving, creativity, and innovation.

Lessons in coding and design, computer science, art and robotics are brought to life with tangible tools and expert-designing lessons for hands-on learning every step of the way. Summer is the perfect time to make these connections between different subject areas, and luckily there’s still time to enroll.

Enhance your child’s educational journey with these camps that they will love.

Register Week 9 (July 31 – Aug. 4) Camps on Community Pass:

STEAM with Sphero Robots (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
