DBFL will be a shirt sponsor for our 2023 race. Their support of Piedmont’s youth and our support of youth athletics meshes nicely. In addition to finding their name on 2400 shirts, they will be collecting gently used clothing items at our bib/shirt pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 22 (at Veteran’s Hall) and at the race on Thanksgiving morning.
We have two more shirt sponsorships available; anyone interested needs to reach out to sydneyproctor66@gmail.com by Aug. 5, before our shirts go to print on Aug. 8.
Last year’s race supported the XC & Track teams, the latter having a 25% increase in participants over previous years. We also were able to make a sizeable donation to PHS Boosters. As part of our approach to getting younger students in the running pipeline we were able to sponsor the shirts for the Piedmont Junior Running Program organized by Len Goldman and the Piedmont Recreation Department as well as make a donation to PMS Boosters for their two respective running teams.
